I am a 6th grade science teacher at DeZavala Middle School. After earning an associate’s degree from Houston Community College, I completed a bachelor’s degree at Sam Houston State University, where I discovered my passion for teaching. I later earned a master’s of education in instructional systems design and technology with the goal of making school more engaging and fun for students.
I’m constantly advocating for both my fellow educators and my students, ensuring they have a meaningful role in their learning experience.
When I’m not in the classroom or advocating through Pasadena Educators Association/TSTA/NEA, I’m usually cycling, traveling, or enjoying the outdoors with friends. For me, it’s all about the experiences-whether it’s exploring new places or visiting national parks to collect a stamp in my passport.
If you’d like to connect, chat, or need support, feel free to reach out! I’m always up for a conversation.
